Everyone has lost someone or something
they truly love…
People say, “Time heals all wounds.” That may be true for some, but others simply bury the pain. Life grows heavier, and our smiles become more forced with each passing day.
Death calls us all, but rarely phones ahead.
The face of death is not unfamiliar—but what about the death of a dream, a career, or a relationship?
Death affects us all differently, yet its finality never changes—you cannot bargain, outwit, or reverse it. This matchless interrupter can devastate and de- press you into the depths of hell itself. Even the most grounded among us can slip into unconscious denial, searching for answers that cannot be found.
Death, to us, is unfair.
We’ve been fighting for fairness all our lives—seeking it from family, expecting it from teachers, and longing for it in relationships. Yet inwardly, we demand it from God.
“Why me, God?”
These must be three of the most popular words ever spoken to Him. I’ve said them… more than a few times. Have you?
